Mark has had a passion for drawing since a very young age. After graduating with an honours degree in Mathematics he undertook a craeer in teaching, begining in mid Wales and currently in Carmarthenshire. It wasn’t until 2008 that his wife encouraged him to try painting, and after a successful first solo exhibition in King Street Gallery, Carmarthen in September ’08 things went from strength to strength.
He has since exhibited in the Kooywood Gallery, Cardiff; Art Matters in Tenby, The Nick Holly Gallery in Swansea and Leek Gallery in Staffordshire. Solo exhibitions followed in King Street Gallery, Art Matters, and he is part of a small group show with Nick Holly in 2013.
He is currently a Director at King Street Gallery, and has been invited to show at a special exhibition of Welsh Artists in Vienna in October/November 2013 with David Kilvington. He has also been invited to exhibit at the Parallax Art Fair on Kings Road, Chelsea in 2014. There will also be a solo exhibition of his work in King Street Gallery in March 2014.
He has conducted various talks and demonstrations across South Wales and his work is held in many private collections across England and Wales
